VENUE HIRE

The Dome is A versatile event space housed in a historical Victorian building dating back to 1884. We are available to hire for all manner of events, day or night, seven days a week. Though primarily designed for live music, we also regularly host club nights, boxing, wrestling, film, TV & music video shoots as well as corporate events.

Our team has combined decades of experience in live events and can help you make your event run as smoothly as possible.
Our passionate, proactive duty managers will ensure that you have everything you need on the day and front of house staff will provide customer-friendly, professional service.

Bar

Our bar can be serviced by up to eight bartenders, ensuring prompt service regardless of event size.
It stocks a selection of lagers, ciders and pale ales on draught and in containers, as well as a variety of spirits and other drinks.

Age restrictions

All live music events are 14+, under 18s must be accompanied by an adult, proof of age on request unless stated on individual listings.
All club events are 18+, proof of age on request. The venue operates on a no re-admission policy.

Smoking area

We have a cosy, well-lit courtyard between The Dome and Downstairs at the Dome for attendees to smoke.

Dressing rooms

In The Dome there are two comfortable dressing rooms, fully equipped with showers, toilets and fridges, as well as a self-contained smoking balcony for the artists.
In Donwstairs at the Dome there are three dressing rooms, one with a shower and toilet. All equipped with fridges.

Late licensing

Events can run until midnight from Sunday to Wednesday. Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays until 2:00am.

Lighting & Audio

The venue is equipped with state-of-the-art light and sound equipment (detailed info in our venue tech spec) and we provide professional, experienced engineers for all events.

Promotional support

We will promote your event on our social media channels, across in-house listings posters and external ads, and assist any way we can in getting the word out. We also have ample poster space in the venue available.
