BLOODY BLEDI

  • Downstairs at the Dome 178 Junction Road LONDON United Kingdom (map)

BLEDI invites you to Bloody Bledi, our Halloween night with a showcase of DJs and performers from across the SWANA region! Dress up in your ookiest spookiest outfit and come support our community's iconic drag queens and DJs!

Bledi is The Queer SWANA Art Rave, a dedicated collective and night out centring QTIBPOC (Queer, Trans/Non-Binary, and/or Intersex, Black people and People of Colour) from the SWANA region (South West Asia/North Africa - commonly referred to as 'the Middle East'). Bledi (Arabic for ‘My Homeland’) has created a space for SWANA Queers to celebrate our lives and showcase our talents, as underrepresented artists of typically marginalised backgrounds.

Non-QTIBPOC allies are welcomed and encouraged to pay for the higher entry fee. Reminder that this is a space prioritising QTIBPOC, be aware of the space you are taking. We will be allocating a small number of tickets for people who are low income (priority will be given to refugees and asylum seekers), please email blediparty@gmail.com to arrange this.
